Let me walk you through the process for ordering a custom painting:
1. Pick your design
This could be an existing painting from my portfolio or an idea of your own.
2. Decide on size and budget
You can choose any size you'd like. You can measure the space in your wall you want it to hang if you're not sure and we can work from there.
To get a rough idea of pricing, you can calculate the base price using this formula:
( Width x Height x 1.0*) + 20
*Paintings starting at 16" x 20" are calculated with a 0.7 rate.
This is typically the base pricing formula I will use to give you an estimate. However, final pricing will also take into account the level of detail required for your painting and any special materials required. We will work together to make sure your painting is what you want and stays within your budget.
3. Design draft
After you've decided on your design idea, size, and budget, we'll work together to make sure I understand your vision and I will create a conceptual design draft so that you can see what my interpretation of your idea will roughly look like. In this stage, I'm focused on making sure you like my stylistic interpretation and colour palette.
4. Approve design
After you've seen my design draft, you can give me feedback for any changes to be made and once we've agreed on the vision, you'll give me the approval to get started.
5. Approve Painting
I will send you a photo of your painting for a final check before I varnish it with a protective coating.
6. Receive your painting!
