Matisse

Henri Matisse (31 December 1869 – 3 November 1954) has been my mentor and inspiration. I first began my painting journey by making Matisse replicas. This helped me learn what I liked most in terms of style and technique. I absolutely love his fauvist use of colour, his appreciation for indoor settings and his lively depiction of women.
